Involvement

American Marketing Association
UNI Chapter

I became involved in the UNI Chapter of the American Marketing Association at the beginning of my college career, being both an active member and executive board member all three years. I started as the secretary, taking meeting notes and assisting any board members in their responsibilities as needed. I quickly transitioned into the Vice President of Membership, sending weekly emails to club members and actively recruiting new ones. In my final year, I was a Co-President of the club, managing the effectiveness and cohesiveness of the other board members and the club. In my years as a member, I gained knowledge and network connections from guest speakers, workshops, volunteer events, and conferences.

Break the Cycle 200
Hope for Justice

In June 2022, I was introduced to the Hope for Justice Event - Break the Cycle 200. This is an annual event where several cyclists ride 200 miles in one day across Iowa to raise awareness to end human trafficking. I was a social media volunteer for this event, using social media channels the day of the event to raise awareness and funds that employ state detectives who provide freedom and justice for human trafficking victims.
